It is such a neat thing to have kids home for Spring Break. Rachael, Eli and Eve came on Saturday and had to leave this morning. Lucas and Shanae came on Friday and will leave tomorrow. In the meantime, we needed to find some fun and exciting things to do in Lovell, Wyoming! Jacob and I bought these kites a couple of weeks ago in hopes that Spring would actually come.
We tweaked and tweaked this kite. Turns out, that if you actually read the instructions instead of just looking at the pictures it really helps. By the time we were almost finished we got it up and flying. It was a very cool looking Pirate ship.
Jacob flew his awesomely cool attack helicopter. He and Lucas put it together and he had a great time flying it. The top spins and the body fills up with air. We need to do this again sometime soon.
We took the dogs with us and they had so much fun. The field is enclosed so they stayed pretty much with us. Duchess doesn't get a chance to get out and run so this was very good for her. Molly kept T-boning her whenever she got the chance.
