Crouton

I painted my bedroom crouton. I have eggshell white in all the rooms in my whole house. My sister Karen and I tackled the project on Friday afternoon, just as soon as Spike left town to go to a football game. By the time he got back, the job was done and the room looked cool. Admittedly, I had a few heart palpitations when I first started painting. It looked really dark at first but it lightened up after all the white was gone.

Sick Jacob

Jacob has the flu today. Not the Swine flu. Just one that the elementary school has been going through. Throw up and diarrhea for 24 hours. He puked when he got to school this morning. Rats.

The Wild Bunch

This picture was taken the Summer of 2002. Wow, how we have changed. Hopefully we will get another picture of all of us with the new additions to our family during Thanksgiving.

What happened to Fall?

I feel like I am in 'Monty Python". Summer gave fall a miss and went straight into winter. It is starting to warm up a little today. We were able to harvest our carrots that were frozen into the ground, thanks to Mark's super strength. The leaves here in Lovell are still green but frozen onto the trees. The good news is that those pesky grasshoppers did not survive the cold. Yeah! Every time we walked out into the yard this year we were attacked by the little beasts.
