We just got back from Greybull and the first track meet of the season. Have I mentioned how much I love to watch track meets?!? Mark went to a small Greybull meet and his cousins Kim and Susie went to the Cody meet. Mark did the shot put and got third and then did the 300 hurdles for the first time. He did really well and placed third. He will bring his time down. This was actually the very first time he actually did a whole three hundred race instead of just going over one hurdle and also the first time he has used the blocks. There are things that Spike will work on him with but there is some great promise. He also ran in the 4 X 400 relay and ran the first leg with a time of about 56. The team ended up taking second. After that he ran the anchor leg in the 'just for fun' weight man's relay. We have some BIG guys.
On the Cody side of things it sounds like Kim got first in the 400 and the 200 and set the school record in the 400. She is just a freshman and is amazing. Susie won the 800 and the high jump. What a great athlete! Here are some pictures of Mark that I cropped out of videos.
