The Lovell Bulldogs stretched their winning streak to four by beating the Kemmerer Rangers with a score of 34 to 7. The Rangers scored first on a kickoff run back by McGee. This gave Kemmerer the lead after a successful PAT 7 to 0. The Lovell fans were a bit nervous the whole rest of the game. Lovell continued to score but the offense struggled. Billy Davila ran in Lovell's first touchdown, followed by a touchdown by Cody Savage and another run for a TD by Dino Collins. Tyrel Harrison scooped up a fumble at our 15 yard line and ran it in. Billy had an amazing game both offensively and defensively and got his second TD in the second half. Again, the Lovell defense held Kemmerer time after time so they didn't score again.
Mark had two interceptions late in the game, got quite a few solo tackles and played a great defensive game. Thanks to Kristie for making the trip with me to Kemmerer. We left at seven in the morning, watched the game and got home before eleven at night. I am pretty sure that we have discussed all the problems in the world and have come up with most of the solutions. ;) It was fun to have Kisha McArthur join us on the way down. Sometimes you just need to talk to the girls!
Watch Mark carefully in this video. He gets a solo tackle on the ball carrier. Mark said the Kemmerer coach was yelling at his team after that play. It's kind of hard to see it at the end. I posted it on the youtube link on your right and it is much more clear. It is called 'great tackle'.
