Track meet in Pavillion!

Did you ever wonder where Pavillion is?  You actually have to want to go there on purpose because you will not just pass by or through any other way.  Pavillion is close to Ethete, Kinnear, St. Stevens, Fort Washakie, Morton and finally...you might get your bearings if I say...Riverton.  It is about three hours away from Lovell.  The bus left in the morning at 5:00 and I took a carload of dedicated track mothers and left by 6:00.  Jacob was a trooper and set his alarm at 7:00 to get up and ready for school.  He took care of the dogs while I was away.  He is getting so grown up.

Mark also ran the  200 where he qualified for finals but had to scratch out of them because he was running the 4 X 400 and the 300 hurdles. Colin McArthur ran an amazing race in the 800 M.  He missed the school record by .7 of a second.  AJ won the shot put, Cody won the triple jump.  The 4X400 relay took first for both the boys and girls.  The girls won the 4 X 100 relay.  Susie won the 800M. Kim won the 400M.  There are tons of kids, like about 50 boys and about 30 girls out for track so we had lots of kids getting lots of points. How fun is that?!?

Mark won the 300 Meter Hurdles on Thursday at the track meet in Pavillion. Both the Lovell boys and girls teams won by a large amount.  The great part is that most of the teams that are in our half of the state for 2A were there so we could see what we were up against.  We hope the girls Three-peat as Champions and that the boys add another State Championship title to their accomplishments.
